Valentin Razmov is a teacher/mentor by heart, and a chess coach who helps both youth and adult students to grow their skills, from beginner to advanced levels. He returned to active tournament play in 2020, many years after being trained to expert level as a youth in Eastern Europe. Valentin is on the board of Washington Chess Federation, where in his capacity as Tournament Coordinator he strives to improve the regional chess scene through innovative and inclusive initiatives to meet the aspirations of all of our active players. He looks forward to meeting and welcoming you at an upcoming chess event.
